Malaysia Law Enforcers Turned Robbers !

Following is a story re-posted from O.young’s Newsletter:

I would like to relate an incident that highlights the extent of the corruption in the police force. I am outraged because they are boldly taking advantage of an underprivileged group. A Myanmar friend of mine who is holding a refugee card was waiting for a bus in Subang when two policemen approached him. They asked to see his identification document. My friend, having no knowledge of police corruption, meekly cooperated with them. Upon finding that he could not produce an ID or passport, the men in uniform took advantage of him, a vulnerable and underprivileged member of the society. They took him in the police car for a short ride where they stripped him of his money and cell phone. Continue…

Celebration of a True Malaysia Day

Quote from [In Good Faith] by Zaid Ibrahim:

“I urge all Malaysians who love this country, and who want to see progress for our future generation, to recognise who our real enemies are: the people who still ‘colonise’ our minds and our actions. Of course, they are no longer the British, but they have adopted the same old strategies: divide and rule the people; differentiate and classify them; instill fear into them and indoctrinate them with propaganda and perverse thoughts. These people may be Malays, Chinese or from any other ethnic group. Regardless of who these ‘colonialists’ are, if allowed, they will perpetuate divisive thinking to ensure that the rakyat will not be united and we will all suffer for this.”

“When we can be one nation, speak as one people and care enough for our fellow Malaysian, regardless of race, creed and class - that will be Malayia’s Finest Hour. The journey to that destination is, however , a long one.”

He wasn’t beaten by the cops, period.

I was utterly speechless of how despicable this federal police CID director is! Several questions that need his answers ASAP:

Mohd Bakri Mohd Zinin CID Director "Super of PR Director"

1. Would a simple denial be enough to end the speculation? Don’t the police have the responsibility to investigate the source of the video since the video has jeopardized the already ruined image of the Royal Police? Wouldn’t our police be smart enough to call upon the ’suspect’ in the video or anyone who could recognize the suspect or have heard about the suspect to stand out to help investigate the physical abuse so to restore the reputation of the police system, and to ‘prove’ that the video was indeed not taken in a police station?

1 Malaysia? or 1 corrupted Malaysia?

How could the law enforcement officials prosecute the suspect without trial? Who gave them the rights?

It really took me a while to finish this 5 minutes video. I couldn’t imagine if I were the “suspect” or if it was someone I know, be it my family member or my friend…

Where is the basic human right? Where is the justice in this so called “one of the best in 3rd world countries”? If we really want to have a developed country, this act shouldn’t be tolerated!

801 Anti-ISA Parade.

A waste of the country’s resources… Our polices are good at nothing but attacking the ordinary citizens who can’t stand of the barbaric policy of the nation.

GongRen: I called it a parade for human rights, not protest.

Protest Seminar on Teoh’s Death

I attended a protest seminar held by Pakatan Rakyat in Kelana Jaya Stadium on July 19. The seminar was organized to protest the action of MACC that caused the death of Teoh Beng Hock, an aide to the opposition party. Here are some photo sharing.

One of banners hung in the stadium: ‘We lost one Teoh Beng Hock today, there will be thousands of Teoh Beng Hock tomorrow’.

CINA BODOH!

Continue…
